Inside this work

I led two of the segments of the Day 3 keynote at Amazon re:MARS 2022 in Las Vegas, Amazon's conference on machine learning, automation, robotics and space: Roni Sole's and Bill Vass's.

Roni announced that Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth could now generate synthetic data: labelled images made in simulation, for training machine-learning models when real pictures are scarce. Bill Vass, AWS's VP of Engineering, followed with digital twins, showing how AWS IoT TwinMaker lets a factory, a warehouse or a robot be built, tested and simulated before the real one exists.
